1991 Fleer Baseball was a 720-card set. Dubbed by many as the "Yellow Monster" it was the largest Fleer Baseball set to date. As with most Junk Wax Era products, this set was grossly overproduced as an estimated 3 million copies of each card were printed.

There were no notable rookie cards in this set.

The product is known for the innovative (for the time) Pro Visions inserts. 1991 marked the debut of the Pro-Visions, a staple for the Fleer flagship brand in the early-90s. Each Pro-Vision card featured a unique, cartoon design that represented the featured player's skill(s), nickname, team, or combination of multiple themes that he was known for. 

The "bottom of the box cards" were printed on the bottom of each wax, jumbo, and super jumbo box. Each wax box had three players plus one team logo "card," while jumbo and super jumbo boxes had three players, two team logos, and a checklist. Unlike previous Fleer box bottom cards, the backs are blank. This would be the final year for box bottom cards.

The nine players selected for this set each threw a no-hitter in 1990. A mint box bottom with Nolan Ryan can fetch a pretty penny.
